FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (faq) - HOW LONG WILL IT BE BEFORE I GET MY ORDER?
Typically we will despatch your order within 48 hours of completed checkout, including orders placed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. We do not close for Christmas (but obviously have to adhere to the postage dates - which will appear on the home page nearer the time). Any information regarding postal strikes etc will be placed on the home page as soon as we are notified and wherever possible an alternative means of despatch will be sought. We hold stock of all our products and restock on a daily basis from our suppliers. All UK mainland orders are despatched using Royal Mail and those over 2kg are despatched via a Courier. Should you require your order for a special occasion, birthday, anniversary, wedding etc, please contact us as soon as possible in order that we may ensure you receive it in time. 01303 488587
- WHAT IF AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK?
As stated previously we hold stock of all our items as we feel it unfair to advertise anything we do not have readily available. If for any reason we (or our suppliers) do not have enough of the item in stock we will do something most other companies do not- we WILL NOT hold your order and delay but we WILL automatically despatch as much of your order as possible and forward the remainder immediately it is in stock. If in the unlikely event that the item is no longer manufactured, we will offer you an alternative or a refund. - ALLERGEN INFORMATION - WHAT'S IN THE SWEETS?
All of our products do, wherever possible, contain full ingredients and allergen information as provided by the manufacturer. However some manufacturers only list basic ingredients and no assumptions should be taken. Nut allergen information is taken directly from the manufacturers labels.However the processes that are used in confectionery manufacturing and the fact that many manufacturers produce other food items, we cannot and will not guarantee 100% that any of our products are completely nut free or are not produced in an environment containing nuts. Also, although all our 'loose weigh' sweets are weighed out hygienically using gloves and bags, not directly on the scales, we cannot and will not guarantee that they have not been stored in a nut free area. Due to the fact that we use many different manufacturers and also that food processes and ingredients do change we are unable to guarantee 100% the presence of nut traces. We periodically update ingredients when we change supplier/manufacturer. In the cases where we sell similar products from different manufacturers you may notice different ingredients. - CAN I GET THIS DELIVERED TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS?
Yes, we are more than happy to ship to a different address. Just remember to complete the details for the shipping address at checkout. We do not charge any extra premium for this. (However please note if you are buying from the UK and are shipping anywhere other tha UK mainland, postage will be based on the shipping address, if you are in any doubt please contact our sales team sales@sweetielady.co.uk - DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE UK?
We ship worldwide and all shipping costs have been set on the system. Larger orders may be sent in seperate parcels as postage is based on weight and we strive to ensure you get the best value for money. Payment can be made using our verified Paypal account which means you can use any credit or debit card. We also accept NOCHEX, cheque or postal order. If paying by cheque/postal order please remember to include your order number with your payment to avoid any delay in despatching your item(s). By Credit/debit card via our SECURE online Protx server, we are a secure site through GO-DADDY.
- HOW SECURE IS MY INFORMATION?
We use a secure server (godaddy) to relate all information. Any information you provide is not shared with any other site or stored in any unsecure manner. All internet payments are made via a secure link to paypal or Nochex. All credit/debit card payments are processed through PROtx
WE NEVER PARTICIPATE IN ANY DATA EXCHANGE, DO NOT 'SELL' OR 'EXCHANGE' YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH ANY OTHER SOURCE. If you choose to join our mailing list your email address will be used only by ourselves to electronically send details of new products, promotions etc and the details are NOT shared with third parties. To avoid missing out on any special promotions or features, please remember to add us to your contacts to prevent our mail going to your junk box - WHY DO YOU NEED MY TELEPHONE NUMBER?
When completing your details, you will be asked to provide a contact telephone number. This is required by the courier and by ourselves in the event that we may need to make urgent contact with you regarding your delivery. This information is not stored in any unsecure area of our website and is not shared with other parties.
